innisfailWell, now I will start to do some work. Yesterday arriving here at Codge Lodge Phil and I moved into a dorm room. Mark from London is living in this room as well for two days. He is travelling down the east coast by push-bike (aussie for bicycle) at the moment. After he nearly had an accident on the way down from Cairns (up here there is just the highway and the road trains do not care about cyclists), he is catching the train now for a little distance to be able to drive on little side roads then. George, the manager of Codge Lodge will supply us with work. Phil even could start working today. Unfortunately I have to wait a little bit. Therefore I will start reading a little bit now, as there is not much to see in Innisfail. I registered myself at the local Johnstone Shire Library, which even for "not-locals" is pretty easy. |
