Today I drove a car - or better to say a bus - on the wrong side of the road the first time. Back home we are just driving
on the right side, so this is wrong or probably left. It was not even as difficult as expected.
Probably because I am already used to the whole environment. The van (Toyota Hiace, built '82) seems to be a real
bargain and worse the investment as for 99% I can sell it in Sydney for more. Tomorrow we will do a road worthy check
and then I will know what I have to do. If it is not to much, I will go for it. It is quite an investment but if I think
about the money I would spend for accomodation, it can just work out. I never thought that I could afford buying
a van finally.
In the evening at Codge Lodge we experienced something out of the strange fauna here again. A really big rhino beetle. We
were sitting on the back balcony and suddenly something came down from the roof. A really huge beetle - scary. It was
flying around then for a few minutes which was looking quite funny as it is just to big to fly. Then it was resting
again right underneath the roof. Ready for fotoshooting. Later Damion even catched it with a glass so that we could take
even better pictures.
