goodbye codge lodgeThat's it, I'm out, out of codge lodge. After we had ideas how to get out of this place during the last days, I left Codge Lodge yesterday. Originally everybody was supposed to move to Donovans farm. Suddenly the farmer changed his mind. But never mind. Now I am living on a caravan park in Innisfail and can use my van in a proper way the first time - fuckin' great. Today I bought the last missing camping untensils. Last weekend I got the first half and did a good bargain again. Watertank, jerry can, esky, chairs and a little toolbox for just 50 Bucks (just the jerry can is half of this price in a shop) and everything is in good condition. Well now I will work for a couple more weeks and safe a little bit more money and then ... hit the road again. It is quite alright to say goodbye to Innisfail this way. First Codge Lodge is kind of home meanwhile due to all the nice people and second if you live at one place long enough you learn to like it - this definitely happened to me concerning Innisfail. Moving out of Codge Lodge the first step is done. In the meantime most of the old people are on the road again anyway (Chris the record holder at the moment - there since mid August - is leaving this weekend as well). So now half on the road, I a.s.a.p. should get fully on to the road again. |
