Down in Down Under - Diary - 09/11/02

camping party @ etty beach
After we pitched our tents and set up the van in a small corner of the Etty Beach Caravan Park
with many difficulties - the manager of this caravan park is the most rude and nasty Australian I ever
met and even the locals say this - we started looking for the bbq. Later Chris explained me some things
to do in Western Australia. As it got dark pretty quick we had to postpone this to another day (meanwhile
I am waiting for an email with all the things). Finally it was a nice and funny evening. As Queensland
is not having daylightsaving it is getting dark pretty early even in summer and so we went to bed pretty
early as well. Around two during the night Dallas, Donovan and Toby finally came around to visit us. As
everybody was already asleep they had some fun by playing witching hour with us. Sharon was the first
to be awake again and was pretty scared as she could not figure out at all who is out there. We spent
the next morning at Etty Beach and went to Golden Hole later on...
