kraftwerk in australiaI never expected to get this possibility one day - to see the ancestors of electronic music in Germany live somewhere. It is an open argument why they do this tour after so many years without presenting any new material. But anyway it was worth the experience. To witness this here in Sydney was the icing on the cake especially as due to the audience the songs were performed in English - but there were some Germans around as well. The show was typical for Kraftwerk - basic. Apart from the four people with their laptops and keyboards there was nothing on stage. In the background there was a big screen though, onto which they projected old and new flicks matching to the songs. A nice show where no classic was missing. |
