no warAgain a fully packed Sunday. First of all we wanted to check out the M.I.L.K. Photoexhibition. Afterwards we wanted to head straight to the demonstration. As we finally ended up being late we had just one hour left to explore the exhibition and decided to repeat this another day.The anti war demonstration was to take place in and around Hyde Park. When we were arriving there you hardly knew where to step - people everywhere. It took a certain time to get somewhere near the stage to be able to listen to the speeches. Following this it was planned to do a march through the city. This was impossible due to the big and unexpected amount of people. The streets around Hyde Park were packed. Finally it went its way anyway and we could follow the masses through the gorges of the CBD. After all this we went to Coogee for BBQ - as usually on Sundays. Unfortunately we could not really enjoy this today, as it started to rain over and over again. |
