perth and rainWe started for our last stage to Perth quite early this morning, to arrive there early this afternoon. Driving through the first outskirts, we were welcome by a nice shower of hail, which forced everyone on the road to stop. After quite a long time, we could move on, which still was pretty difficult due to the extensive masses of water that still were left on the road. After checking into one of the backpacker hostels, we went into the city. On the way we realised that there is a Free Transit Zone in the inner city centre, where you do not have to pay anything for public transport - what a nice idea. Within the city there are not so many special things to see, we just walked around and through some malls and postponed Kings Park, which is supposed to offer some nice views onto the city and surroundings, for tomorrow. |
