albany and back to perth
After a little trip to Albany we wanted to go back to Perth today, to go over to Rottnest Island tomorrow.
Of course it is still raining and so we just had a little stop in Albany. In the city we had a look
at Dog Rock - probably similar to Wave Rock, it is looking more exciting on pictures than in real life.
However, a little bit disappointed we still went to Frenchman Bay to have a look at the Gap and
Natural Bridge. These were quite interesting. Natural Bridge as it is really looking dangerous, but
you can walk around on top without having to be scared. The Gap as due to the strange form once in a
while the water really splashes up the approcimately thirty metres up to the upper edge.
Then we went back to Fremantle, where we wanted to get some information about the ferry to Rottnest Island.
As the prices to get over there utterly are a rip-off - 40 bucks return - we decided to renounce
Rottnest Island and go back to Perth.
