coral bay & exmouth
On the way to Exmouth we of coures did not want to miss out Coral Bay and so we decided do to a
little trip to this little resort. At the beach you indeed can nearly walk into the coral. In my
opinion they were not as colourful as always said, but if you go a little further out, I am sure
you can find some like that as well. Anyway, it is remarkable that the fish apperently are not disturbed
by anyone and a big variety can be seen pretty near to the shore.
Then we went to Exmouth, where we wanted to stay for a few days. On the way we saw our first termite
mounds. In the first moment you just think that these are huge rocks. But as they are getting more and more,
we finally decided that they have to be termite mounds. Of course, Dave immediately started to carry
on with spinning his plans for a self-build-didgeridoo. Arriving in Exmouth we checked in at the
caravan park, which was cheaper than expected. We soon realised, that we would have to wait for a
couple of days to do a dive, as everything was booked. In this aspect this place is quite sought-after
meanwhile. In the evening we decided just to go for one dive. Nic will do his Introductory Scuba Dive
and I will go for the famous Navy Pier.
