Today we wanted to go to Cable Beach, apperently the third best beach in the world. After some things we
had to do in the city, we checked in at a caravan park right next to the beach. In the afternoon we went
to the beach and once again were disappointed. Okay, it is a huge beach, 20km along the Indian Ocean,
totally even. This means that the beach is more than 200m wide at low tide as well and once in the water
you have to walk quite a bit until it gets deeper. But that's it! Additionally it is allowed
to drive on the beach with a 4WD on the northern part and there is quite a lot traffic.
In the evening we were lazy and decided to go for junk food at McD - a huge kindergarten. More than half
of the people working there were under 18, the youngest probably 12 - do these kids have some kind of
future? - Okay, that's it basically for today, a little bit different then usually.
